Competition: Design a simple iconic pendant light for &tradition

designEX 2013 in partnership with &Tradition and Great Dane invite young Australian designers to participate in Northern Lights, an exciting competition that offers the unique opportunity to have their work recognised on an international stage.

Entrants will be required to respond to a brief which requires the development of an iconic product that works individually and as part of a collection.

The winner of Northern Lights will receive return flights and accommodation to the factory of &tradition in Denmark and the guaranteed production of their winning design.

Five finalists will be chosen to showcase their entries at designEX 2013, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 30 May – 1 June, 2013. Each finalist, vying for this exciting opportunity, will pitch their design to a live panel of industry leaders who will then determine and announce the winner of Northern Lights.
