Founded in 1899, Getama is a furniture manufacturer who has famously produced many pieces of furniture by internationally renowned Danish designer, Hans Wegner. Highly appreciated for its design, quality and durability, under Getama's watch his furniture has become highly coveted. Originally specialising in seaweed mattresses, today Getama also produces a large range of high quality contemporary furniture. In the 1990s, Getama launched new products by the internationally renowned Nanna Ditzel (Joy and Mondial) and Bernt, further paving their successful careers and solidifying their legacy.
